Liability Waiver

Effective Date: 1 October 2025

This Liability Waiver (“Waiver”) governs your participation in all Touch Football skills and coaching clinics, and other services offered by KB’s Tippy Tap Extras. By registering for or attending any program or service, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Acknowledgement of Risk

Participants acknowledge that Touch Football is a physically demanding sport with inherent risks, including strains, sprains, fractures, and other injuries.

You confirm you understand these risks and voluntarily choose to participate, accepting full responsibility for any injury or loss that may occur.

2. Medical Clearance

You represent that you are in good health and physically fit to engage in high-intensity athletic activities.

If you have any pre-existing medical conditions or injuries, you agree to obtain written medical clearance from a qualified healthcare professional before participating.

3. Assumption of Risk

You assume all risks associated with participation, whether foreseen or unforeseen, including risks arising from facility conditions, equipment failure, coach instruction, or the conduct of other participants.

4. Release and Waiver of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release and forever discharge KB’s Tippy Tap Extras, its owners, officers, employees, agents, and contractors from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action arising out of or related to your participation, including negligence.

5. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless KB’s Tippy Tap Extras from any loss, liability, damage, or cost (including legal fees) incurred as a result of your breach of this Waiver or your negligent or intentional actions during participation.

6. Photography and Video Release

We may photograph and record video during clinics and events for marketing, social media, promotional materials, and internal training.

By participating, you grant KB’s Tippy Tap Extras a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use your likeness, voice, and performance in any media without compensation.

If you wish to opt out of photography or video, notify us in writing at least seven days before your first session. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your request.

7. Governing Law

This Waiver is governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any dispute arising under this Waiver must be resolved exclusively in the courts of Queensland.

8. Severability

If any provision of this Waiver is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

9. Parent/Guardian Consent (Minors)

Participants under 18 years of age must have a parent or legal guardian review and sign the Waiver. The parent or guardian agrees to all terms on behalf of the minor.

10. Consent

By attending any program or service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and voluntarily accept this Liability Waiver in its entirety.
